Notice of Annual Meeting - February 4, 2025

The annual meeting for GRWD's members will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 7 pm at GRWD's office located at 113 Shamrock Ln, SE, Devils Lake.  Refreshments will be served and members will be eligible for door prizes, which include 1st prize - $150, 2nd prize - $100 and $3rd prize - $50 - all as account credits.  Annual meeting is held to conduct business, elect directors and inform members of District's operations from the previous year as well as current activities and long-term planning.

VOTE - 2 directors will be elected at the annual meeting. Gilbert Black is seeking re-election in Ward 1.  Doug Mohr does not plan to seek re-election in Ward 2. If interested in serving on the board, please contact Lonnie Lacina, manager at 701-662-5781 for eligibililty and a nomination form.  Nomination deadline is 3 pm January 15, 2025. 

VOTE on by-laws change. Directors have approved a proposed amendment to the by-laws for members to vote on at the annual meeting. The proposed amendment updates the election process to allow for in-person voting one week prior to the annual meeting, voting at large, tie-breaking procedure, along with updated election and other verbiage.  If approved, changes will take effect for the 2026 annual meeting.
