Gilbert Black, Grace City - Term 2016
Originally from McHenry, ND, graduate of Valley City State University and NDSU. Lives and farms near Grace City, ND with his wife Jo Anne for the past 32 years. Have one daughter Jessica & Pete Johnson, Kensal ND, three sons, Gavin & Sandi Black, Sheyenne, ND, Travis & Katie Black, McHenry, ND Ryan & Kristen Black, Fargo, ND and seven grandchildren. Currently is the Superintendent of Midkota Public School. Activities and pastimes include hunting, fishing, sporting events and being a grandparent. Elected to the board of directors in 2013 representing Ward 1.

David Hovendick, Warwick - Term 2016
David went to grade school and high school in Minnesota and was a graduate of the Wadena Area Vocational Technical Institute with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology. David moved to the Devils Lake area in 1979 for a temporary 3 year stay. David "still" lives in the area with his wife Connie, north of Warwick. They have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. David has been a Professional Land Surveyor since 1994 and owns his own business, LSS Inc. in Devils Lake. David enjoys traveling, reading and spends some of his free time on the water or the ice. David is currently on the Lohnes Township Board, is a past president of the Prairie Wood Development Association, and has been on miscellaneous church boards. David was newly elected to the Greater Ramsey Water District board in February 2013 and represents Ward1.

Jay Klemetsrud, Devils Lake - Past President – Term 2017
Graduate of Devils Lake High School and UND with a degree in industrial management. Master
plumber for the last 30+ years and manager of Klemetsrud Plumbing & Heating for the same
time. Married to Jeanne Litzinger of Devils Lake and have three sons and a daughter, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Belongs to numerous civic and fraternal organizations. Elected to the board of
directors in 2008 representing Ward 2 and reelected in 2014.

Doug Mohr, Devils Lake - Term 2017
Has spent most of adult life in the Lake Region area. Married to Cecilia and has one son, Patrick.
Prior work experience includes education and real estate. Currently employed by Ramsey
National Bank. Hobbies include hunting and spending time at the lake. Elected to the board of
directors in 2008 and reelected in 2014 representing Ward 2.

Les Windjue, Devils Lake - Term 2017
Les and his wife Karn live west of Devils Lake. They have three children and five grandchildren. Les serves on numerous boards and is in his 7th term on the Greater Ramsey Water District board. He has served on the Ramsey County Water Resource Board, Community College Foundation Board, Ramsey County Farm Bureau, Peace Lutheran Church Council and currently serves on the Nodak Electric Cooperative board of directors. Les enjoys family time at the lake, an occasional ski trip and winter vacations somewhere warm and sunny. Windjue represents Ward 2.

Jerry Nelson, Devils Lake – Vice President - Term 2018
Jerry is a life long resident of Ramsey County, except for serving 4 years during the Korean War in the US Navy. He has lived in Lakewood and now lives on a hobby farm northwest of Devils Lake. Nelson was involved in raising money for the feasibility of the original Ramsey water project. "My only claim to fame is being the North Dakota Wagonmaster for Bicentennial Wagon train to Valley Forge." Jerry has 2 sons, 1 grandson, 2 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren. Was appointed to the board in 2014 and elected to a 3 year term in 2015, representing Ward 3. "My former and current residences have let me see the value of potalbe water. I am the newbie on the board and learning every day."

Paul Becker, Crary – Past President - Term 2018

Paul, along with wife, Kimberly, farms in northern Ramsey County. They have a son and daughter attending UND and another son living in Grand Forks. Becker has been involved in farming for over 40 years as a fifth generation farmer with a centennial farm that has been in the Becker family for over 130 years. Becker is a graduate of Devils Lake High School, Lake Region Junior College and NDSU, with a degree in Agricultural Economics. Involved in many community activities; currently a board member of Ramsey County Water Resource Board and Ramsey County Farm Bureau. Becker represents Ward 3, has served the District since 1998 and was reelected in 2015.
